Quick Bio: I am a Senior Software Developer for a small medical simulation company in south FL. I received my PhD from the University of Florida in 2009. My research focus is immersive environments (think VR, MR/AR) for simulation and training. Specifically, I am interested in developing novel interface technologies to improve the accessibility and educational outcomes of simulation-based curricula. I am especially interested in the health sciences, but look to expand the applicability of these technologies to other areas.

Other interests: I play guitar (and sometimes bass and sometimes program drums) and am heavily into somewhat esoteric areas of progressive metal, but still a big thrash and shred fan.
